Lost Harvest & Food to Feed Our Neighbors

Hey Everyone, one of our Clients is doing work with a food bank located in Arizona.  Right now 50 million pounds of produce worth around $100 million dollars is being thrown away because no one is there to take it.

Mercy Food Distribution can provide truckloads of produce for food banks and food drives for just the cost of shipping and handling.  They said we could get roughly 35,000 lbs, which is $70,000 worth of produce delivered by truck to Florida for around $10,000.  Two or more groups could split the cost and the produce between them.

The cost is lower the closer you get to Arizona.  Please watch the following video which shows tons of good produce being sent to the landfill.

After seeing the video, I knew I had to do something.  I am contacting the local churches in our area to tell them about this amazing opportunity to get produce to feed the hungry.  Please share this information with the churches and organizations in your community which could benefit. 

They have also come up with some simple strategies for doing local fundraising so that the food drives would pay for themselves on an ongoing basis.

Jalapeños & The Law of Attraction

My Wife and I love to go to a local restaurant which has excellent Mexican food.  We have been dining at this restaurant for roughly four years.  One of our favorite dishes to order off of the menu is “Mexican Egg Rolls”.  We first saw these ordered by another patron years ago, and they were so big that we had to ask what dish it was.  The lady who ordered them said that they were amazing and it was her favorite dish.

The Mexican Egg Rolls is a delicacy made out of shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and sliced jalapeños peppers which are wrapped in a tortilla and deep fried.  The restaurant likes to use jalapeños which are really hot, so we typically remove them, but we often times don’t find them all until it is too late.

Last week we were sitting near to the Owners of the restaurant and when we commented about how much we liked their food, especially the Mexican Egg Rolls.  We also said we try to avoid eating the jalapeños, and how often times missed one forcing us to drink a full glass of ice water. 

The Owners of the restaurant then told us to just order them and tell the waitress to “hold” the jalapeños.  They said that the dish was made to order and that you could also mix and match the ingredients.  We were in shock, as we had always “assumed” that they were a packaged dish that was from a vendor.

How many times in our lives do we settle for not living the life of our dreams, but instead make assumptions that we cannot for whatever reason.  In the example above, it never occurred to us that we could have the dish exactly the way we wanted it.  The whole time we settled for digging out the jalapeños, when all we had to do was ask and we could have had them the exact way we wanted them.

There is nothing you cannot Be, Do, or Have.  Get clear on what you want.  If your life is giving you jalapeños and you don’t like it, change your order and ask for what it is that you want.

From Bust to Boom-Proclaiming the Miracle

Hi Everyone,
I want to share with you an AMAZING miracle that I just saw manifest.  I very good friend of mine had been looking for a job for a while and he was starting to get a little down on himself, as he was not getting any calls for interviews.

I asked him to send me a copy of his resume and I offered my help with making some changes to it.  A few days later I sat down and I created this incredible resume in about 20 minutes which was word perfect.  I couldn't believe how well it came out with zero effort, I then realized that I was just a conduit for the Universe, as I could feel the divine "energy" flowing after completing it.

My friend thought the revised resume was great and he uploaded it to a job search web site.  The next day after being thoroughly frustrated with the results of his job search and needing money to survive, he made a declaration to the Universe, and he PROCLAIMED to The Universe "GOD,OR WHOEVER IS LISTENING, I NEED YOUR HELP AND I NEED A SOLUTION RIGHT NOW! NOT TOMORROW OR NEXT WEEK!  I NEED A SOLUTION RIGHT NOW"!!

The next day he got an email and a phone call from an Employer who asked him to come in for an interview.  The interview went perfectly with the hiring manager, and the job was a perfect match for what my friend was looking for.  Rather than following the typical protocol of interviewing all the candidates, they hired him on the spot as they knew he was THE ONE!

In the interview, the hiring manager said that the resume was the best that he had ever seen and that it had EVERYTHING he was looking for in a candidate. 

My friend was overwhelmed with gratitude when he called me and told me what had just happened.  All of his problems went away in less than 24 hours after making his decree to the Universe.

I have not used that technique before, but I have seen another friend do the same with amazing success.  I hope you have found this story to be motivating.  Miracles do happen, if you need one proclaim it to the Universe and have gratitude now for it is on its way. 

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that he NEVER HAD APPLIED TO THAT JOB OR TO THAT COMPANY...they found him!!

You cannot "dabble"...

I had a great conversation with a new student the other day, and he said that he had watch the movie The Secret a number of times, but was not seeing results in his life.  The analogy I gave him was that if you held a book about basketball against your head for 5 minutes, do you think that would give you the ability to play well on the court?  He said "of course not".

Why is it that people think the same thing about the law of attraction?  To get real results, you cannot "dabble" with it, you need to take real concrete actions on a daily basis if you are going to see real results in your life.  The good news is that you can begin today to create the life of your dreams.  I wish you great success!!!

Dunkin' Donuts & The Universe

The other day I stopped in to the local Dunkin' Donuts coffee shop to get a cup of coffee.  There was a Lady in front of me in line who was ordering donuts.  She initially ordered 2 chocolate covered Boston creme donuts, and as soon as the Clerk at the store put them in the box, she changed her mind and said that she wanted 2 jelly donuts instead.  The Clerk then put the 2 Boston cremes back on the shelf and put the 2 jelly donuts in the box.  Again the Lady changed here mind, and said that she wanted a blueberry cake donut, and a plane glazed donut instead.  The Clerk at the counter was amazingly patient, and fulfilled the customer's request.  This went on for another two more rounds, and I have no idea what she ended up with as far as donuts go.

I realized that this was the perfect analogy as to why many people are not living the life of their dreams.  Most people never truly decide what it is that they want in life, or should I say what kind of "donut" they want to have.  If you do not DECIDE what it is that you truly want, simply put you won't get it.  The Universe cannot give you what you want if your are constantly changing your mind.  Instead you will end up feeling "stuck", as many people feel their lives are.

Getting "unstuck" begins with DECIDING what it is that you truly want, and then taking action to begin moving in the direction of your goals.  Once you do this, your life will become "unstuck", and you can have the "donut" you want!!

Happy New Year!!!

New Years Day is a wonderful time to contemplate and look forward to what we want to manifest in to our lives in the upcoming year.  A great exercise to do today is to write in your journal and “script” from the standpoint that it is one year from now, and everything you wanted in 2012 has come true.

When you do this, get in to the feeling of how it would feel “as if” everything came true!  I did this last night and it was a wonderful experience.  I know it is done and on its way to me.  Don’t get caught up in the “how” it is going to happen, instead be grateful NOW for it coming true and manifesting in your experience.  If you do this daily, you WILL have whatever it is that you say you want.
